Terracotta is literally baked earth - a natural clay-based material fired at low temperatures, which welcomes a simpler and more sustainable production. The vase is made by hand in India. The shape is uneven and surface imperfect with traces from the human hands that touched it and the flames that fired it. The vase is not waterproof and will become damp over time.
